Michigan Racer Run Snowmobile Ice Drag Racing
 
MRRSIDR is a racer run non profit LLC based in Michigan. We operate on all volunteer help, coming from either the community or from racers who do it for the love of the sport. The communities we race at plow the tracks and put up the necessary safety barriers required by both our Insurance Carrier and the DNR. . The racers set up the required equipment to run the race and control results. The race surface is ice and the race track length is 660 ft. We require all our tracks to have an additional 1200 ft to 1500 ft of smooth shut down area. In most cases we plan on running our events in connection with local community Winter Festivals. This has worked out well for us and the community as we bring a lot of excitement to their festivals and bring in more spectators as well as racers while relieving us of some of the cost and burden of building tracks our self prior to running a race.
